Gravity Supply Chain Expands in Europe with New Visibility Software Clients
LONDON, UK – April 26, 2018 – European logistics providers are looking to startup Gravity Supply Chain to provide a cutting edge technology driven point of differentiation.
Gravity Supply Chain, the quickly growing startup that has developed a cloud-based supply chain management platform for logistics service providers, retailers and manufacturers, today announced the expansion of its European logistics service provider customer base. The company has secured four new contracts in the first few months of 2018, including: Advanced Supply Chain Group (UK), Gosselin Forwarding (Belgium), MapCargo International (UK) and Unsworth Global Logistics (UK).
All four companies will deploy the Gravity white-label Purchase Order Management software and recently launched Shipment Tracking software to support their respective business growth and deliver real-time supply chain and logistics visibility propositions.
“By partnering with Gravity, we combine our unique end-to-end intelligent supply chain approach and existing infrastructure with a best-in-breed technology platform that delivers market-leading visibility and advanced analytics.” said Simon McKnight, International Supply Chain Director, Advanced Supply Chain. “This combination will allow Advanced Supply Chain to further deliver truly innovative solutions to the retail sector, who continue to grapple with the complex challenges and huge opportunities associated with leveraging on-line and omni-channel sales.”
“We would like to welcome our newest European based customers to the global Gravity community,” said Darren Palfrey, COO, Gravity Supply Chain. “Deployment of our Shipment Tracking and Purchase Order Management solutions to logistics service providers continues at a rapid pace and we are delighted to be working with innovative industry leaders who are embracing the digitisation of the sector, and the immense benefits that real-time visibility of the supply chain and logistics network can bring to their customer base, their value proposition and their own internal operations.”
Delivered as one integrated platform, the Gravity Shipment Tracking software for logistics service providers offers real-time multimodal shipment tracking and exception management, with the Purchase Order Management software delivering additional functionality, including vendor management and advanced visibility into the end-to-end supply chain.
“Our white-labelled Gravity Purchase Order Management software has allowed us to enhance our supply chain and transport management offering, and deliver greater transparency and visibility into our customers’ business,” said Karen Van Brussel, Supply Chain Manager, Gosselin Logistics. “It differentiates us in what continues to be a highly-competitive market and continues our commitment in leading our sector in providing high-quality solutions combining people, facilities and technology.”
