Four Reasons To Get Excited For The Supply Chain Innovation Summit

The Supply Chain Innovation Summit Asia Pacific is just around the corner! On Dec. 1, and Dec. 2, thought leaders and innovators from the FMCG, Hi-tech, Retail, Logistics, e commerce and manufacturing industries will gather in Singapore for two days of presentations, debates and collaboration all centered around best practices that can be applied to enhance your supply chain strategy.

Here are four reasons why we are counting down the days until SCIS 2016:

1. Presentation Topics We Want To Know About

Look at the SCIS 2016 agenda, and you’ll see that “Transformation” is the dominant theme. I can’t think of a better word to describe how technology advancements, and the high demands that customers place on suppliers and retailers, are permanently reshaping our industry.

Global supply chains have never been more complex and difficult to manage. Who better to help you overcome the challenges you face than the executives who are in the trenches fighting the same battles alongside you?

The presentations, workshops and networking events will get divided into four main categories that all tie back to the theme “Transformation in the new era”:

  1. CEO’s Perspectives
  2. Digital Supply Chain Transformation
  3. Supply Chain Visibility/Optimization
  4. Big data, IoT, Cloud Computing and Innovative Technologies

2. Amazing Lineup Of Speakers

You’ll want to be sure to clear your calendar for both days as you’ll need all that time to accommodate the fantastic lineup of presentations by senior-level industry executives who oversee supply chains, logistics, retail operations and shipping for some of the world’s most recognizable brands, including Adidas, Alibaba Group, DHL, Google, Huawei Technologies, L’Oréal and, Nokia.

David Graham will explain how to leverage technologies like cloud computing, data analysis, and even the smartphone in your pocket, to coordinate real time communication and visibility across the extended supply network. His presentation, “Strategies for Synchronizing the Supply Chain Network,” is scheduled for Dec. 2, at 9:20 a.m.

He’s still putting the finishing touches to his presentation, so if you have any topics you’d like him to address, please comment below or tweet to him at @d8vyg.

3. All-Star Exhibitors

There will also be more than 40 companies exhibiting how their new technology solutions and services can help you modernize your supply chain strategy to create new efficiencies, drive growth and gain competitive advantages.

Gravity Supply Chain Solutions will be one of those exhibitors (Booth #2). We will be providing hands-on demonstrations of our real time, end-to-end, supply chain visibility software, built using mag-NET™.  We’d love the opportunity to meet you, learn about the challenges you’re facing, and show you how our platform can help. Use this link to schedule a demo at our booth.

4. Collaborating & Networking

It’s impossible not to get excited about attending when you read statements like this on the homepage of the Supply Chain Innovation Summit website:

“There will be superexcellent networking opportunities, case studying, debate challenges, and hot topic discussions…”

“Superexcellent”? I’m not sure you’ll find that word in a dictionary, but we couldn’t agree more!

The Supply Chain Innovation Summit is a prime opportunity to make important connections with like-minded people. Chat to fellow attendees and speakers about your challenges, and gain new practical insights on how to make your supply chain more competitive.
